I guess that's because the ERP is far field power while the "stolen power" (via the HF antenna) comes from the near field energy power. Or otherwise: the 4 Watt is not radiated from the LF-antenna to

what puzzles me is that you can energise a bulb [300 ma x 12.6volts?] at nearly 4 watts with an ERP of less than 1 watt...........;-)) G3GVB to antenna been and than of
