John Your QRM looks exactly as the one I get when I use a "lower power consumption" PHILIPS light. There is some kind of chopper inside the socket radiating such wide band noises. Jean-Louis F6AGR

Hi John what does it sound like?? I have seen pics similar to that on my waterfal by the audio load FMing the psu is a flatscreen TV. Becuae the mod you would decome is x 4 or so, you wont resognise

Thank you everyone for your advice and comments on this problem. As soon as I tried to trace it this weekend, the noise disappeared. No doubt it will return and I will let people know what I find. 73
