Sad news indeed. Laurie was a real gentleman. I have a perfect "O" capture of AQC on 137kHz - in fact the only U.K. station that I've ever received on 137. -- 73 Warren K2ORS WD2XGJ WD2XSH/23 WE2XEB/

That's sad. Laurie was a real gentleman and a good op. I remember how excited he was when he got across the pond on 72.4 kHz almost 7 years ago. And he was a regular on 137 kHz during the T/A testing
