Stefan, I am interesting about this test with your MF dipole. Now it is a bit early QTR, but I have one RX listening on 477 OP4, and a second RX on 472.5 CW. You know that I am QRV crossband MF/80m C
No OP decodes yet ?..stations are monitoring 477 just switched to 477 now 20-00 bst (also 500 with ft897+short ae) G.. MF, I will now start to do my tests with the MF dipole. It may take 2 hours unti
MF, I will now start to do my tests with the MF dipole. It may take 2 hours until i am QRV. I have a CW key and a PC to allow Opera4 transmissions. For CW i want to transmit on 472.5 kHz, so if you w
Hi Stefan, Just got home from the family business, and will start to listen for your signal on the pseudo- "CW calling frequency". Cul, Wolf DL4YHF . Am 29.07.2012 15:12, schrieb Stefan Schäfer: MF,
Hi Stefan, Just returned from the family business and will look for your signals now. Will leave the PC at home, and be restricted to 'aural copy' on 472.5 kHz @ df0wd . hpe cul, 73, Wolf DL4YHF . Am

First dahes from Stefan's dipole around 17:00, he said he got about 20 watts RF input. SNR here around 18 dB in 1.46 Hz FFT in broad daylight. Apparently someone else called in CW but not yet strong
I'm sorry, i forgot the USB-RS232 converter so it wasn't possible to transmit in OP4 with the netbook. I tried to find an alternative solution by keying the PA with the 1700 Hz tone generated by Oper

Thank you Stefan for this interesting experiment and report. Here are a couple of thoughts I have discussed with Stefan, and which I would like to share with the group. Regarding the decrease of the

Stefan I did not hear anything from you and your dipole. I can cover the same distance from my mobile with the same power and a 8ft base loaded whip on the car. It seems a lot of wire to lay out for
