This site with a list of top band beacons by OK1RP was mentioned in today's ARRL Contest Rate Sheet: http://topband.blog.cz/0611/160m-beacon-list This shows a beacon on 1835.0 with the callsign "KB4"

Dave. QTR 0100 UTC approx, mode CW with qsb in/out 459 peak. Abt the same strength on both vert and large 190m vert loop. Also active on band abt the same time VE1ZZ and VE1ZJ 73 mal/g3kev -- Origina

Try one of the remote web-controlled hf rx's over in the usa , see if it shows up after dark over there ? G .. I think this beacon could be located in S/America, it was fairly weak on cw. Am I the on

Why on earth do we need beacons on Top Band, especially there right in the middle of the active part of the band and next to the 1836 QRP activity frequency? Don't suppose it is our friend EA3?? (for

Hi all Beacon active on 1835 khz sending 160m exp beacon reply HOTMAIL.COM, language appears to be spanish. Does anyone know where this is located. No callsign de G3KEV
