After my post yesterday I realised there is one more thing I can do here to the rx. I have an E-field rx running too, if this was combined coherently with the loop antenna, some further directivity m

Dear group, We can be optimistic about further successes in the VLF sector i think. The most enjoyable finding (within ham experiments)is, that the E field decay relly seems to be rather ~ 1/sqrt(d)

No, Stefan. You forgot P ~ E^2, not P ~ E. Thus if you get ERP 3 dB higher then distance will be 2 (not 4) times more. Regards, Alexander/RA9MB

Paul, LF, Which gain can be achieved with accuarte coupled multi loop receiving antennas? You told us you have a RX antenna out of 2 loops, coupled in a special way. Is it possible to built a loop th

Dear Stefan, LF Group, The soundcard output from the Spec Lab digimode terminal is a sine wave, about 2v pk - pk from my PC. But a simple limiting amplifier between soundcard output and gate driver i
