I've got another monitoring prog that works on similar signal detection principles but a bit more rigorously and was designed for monitoring a continuous signal such as beacons. That S/W is a bit more fiddly to play with than the GB3RAL.EXE plug-and-play one, but more versatile - written for experimenting with. The source code is there as well.
