On Thursday, Industry Canada posted the comments received regarding the
proposal to grant 472-479 kHz to amateurs. All comments were favourable
but one from a plc proponent. The negative submission was substantiated
largely by dramatisation, conjecture and outright inaccuracies and cited
the unfortunate FCC decision to deny 137 kHz to our American peers.
We can hope that reason will prevail and that the new band will soon become available to Canadian amateurs. 73 Joe VO1NA This electronic communication is governed by the terms and conditions at http://www.mun.ca/cc/policies/electronic_communications_disclaimer_2012.php |
