[...] Has someone tried that before? :-) there was a vlf experiment done in the USA http://qru.de/w4dex-vlf.html , that used a big loop mounted to power line poles (below the power line of course). they got 10km from abt 100W. this is very similar, but the coupling loop is isolated. using a loop between the towers is easier - i haven't tried that. btw. i have an international gas pipeline nearby: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yamal%E2%80%93Europe_pipeline opportunity for dx maybe? :) jacek |
