Dear
LF, Dave,
I
think it was me that kicked-off the original discussion. It makes sense for
people using narrow modes like QRSS and DFCW to cluster together somewhere
within a 100 Hz window - the width of an "Argo" screen. I've got crystals for
503.5 and 501.5, so either of those two slots would get my
vote!
This
reflector seems a reasonable place for 500 kHz activity to be discussed,
provided we put "500" in the subject line to allow mail filtering as VY1JA
suggested.
I did
some tests last week-end, and I can listen on 137 kHz QRSS/DFCW while sending on
500 kHz, which makes cross-band a possibility. The man-machine interface isn't
so good, as the PCs are in different rooms! I need to work on this a bit, but
hope to be QRV cross-band soon (not this week-end..got
visitors.)
73,
Dave G3WCB IO91RM
