Brian,
I may be a bit late on this one, but there is "move to folder" & "move a
copy to folder" & you need the first. I bet you've already worked it out by
now.

Sounds like you have COPY ticked rather than MOVE.....but of course I could
be totally wrong i do it manually every now and again with the find
facility.
