Hello Michael.

Just for info :

  • DK7FC was not transmitting at this time ;
  • FY0EDJ call not exist. I just see that on the French administration data base for amators radio ;
  • WG2XJM was transmitting at this time, so the report seems correct, but was not logged in the WSPR data base, so it is not valid.

Other infos :

Here I had some problems (too much false decodes and software crashes, using Windows 8.1) with the WSPR 2.12 + FMT and also the WSPRX V08 r3058. But you can test also the new WSPRX V09 r5279…

On my side, I use for WSPR 2 the V 4.0 r 4171 which is perfect and without any problem. I did not tried the new r4215 version ? HI !

Best regards.

Andy.

Hi All: I'm not sure what to think of this....

I have been experimenting with IF shifting my radio to get WG2XJM very strong signal 10 to 13 dB down the IF bandpass

curve to improve weak signal reception of other stations when Eric is transmitting.  Odd sunset partial captures appear

to be transatlantic, but I am not sure about reality with this data. My EWE antenna was configured to favor a SE direction, but with

120 degree 3dB beam width pattern it covers the NE as well.   Long distance transition zone propagation is a possibility, but I

would be hesitant to claim it not having received correct grid square information......
