great! tu Stefan, the UA0SNV grabber is new for me, now on my favorite-list!
a big RX ant is good for weak signals if you can give it good to the first
mixer, if not use a smal aktiveloop or mini whip.
a good long-distance qso takes a long of time you must get the best
moment!
today evening we have storm! i had a crash with the ant, dont know what it
is. the PA-fuse is broken, SWR is bad! i will see tomorow what it is. i go
qrt now.

Tnx info.
RX ant = TX ant = 80m wire, up max.20m.
That sounds interesting.
I also try another antenna for LF today, which comes a bit closer to the
PA0RDT design, but with band limiting / LPF and other transistors. There
are some ground currents that i cannot completely remove and so i want to
try a rather low impedant distribution of my signal via the RG58 cable...
Tom was using 6m toploadet vert. ant and i think 300Watt.
6m is not really much so your RX must be even better, or the conds.
i also send him e-mail and no answer to, dont know why! :-( but i
found the confirm of the QSO on the swedish webpage.
I also saw the confirmation of your QSO on that page ;-)
yes ok Stefan give a try for Japan or other Asia, ur signal is strong!
Yes, best distance to Asia is UA0SNV
(http://dl.dropbox.com/u/47550836/UA0SNV_LF_Grabber.html) so far. But the
higher the distance over land, the stronger the QSB. So i expect fragments
of my signal at best, like seen at 5X/RN3AUS.
i have to get up at 4 in the morning,
Perfect for a TA QSO during brushing your teeth or drinking coffee. You
can even take a shower if you do it in QRSS-10 but CW is more difficult
;-)
no night activity hi, may be at the weekend.
BTW weekend. I thought about a /p LF activity again with my ferrite RX
antenna, in CW. Will announce that, if i go out. I remember our CW QSO in
2003 and it is time to repeat it. What do you think? :-)
