Hallo Stefan,

Have a look at this specific product ("3D Sound" in transparent blue
plastic case), there are plenty sellers on the "bay" in DE:

I use exactly the same card for sound input from the NaI(Tl)
scintillator probe preamplifier in my gamma spectroscopy setup.

At least for that purpose it works as well or better than the built-in
audio interfaces I have tried. Key parameters in that application are
low noise, no extra "hidden" sound processing and good input waveform
reproduction.

Hi reading discussion,
Hm, are you sure?
wonder why You do not use soundblaster 24 bit.(Vers. 5.1)
Because this is a BIG (!!) box and i need a small one! Small means
something near 2cm x 5cm x 1cm, not 26,8 x 20 x 8,8 cm...

Hi Stefan,
if your soundcard is connected to a raspberry or similar, why do
not try to use TWO: une for I channel, one for Q channel ???

On my remote RX i'm using a cheap USB-soundcard (attachment),
which runs very well! However it has just a mono-input (Mic).

What i need is such a soundcard with *_stereo microphone
inputs_*. It has to be such a cheap and compact one, i.e. for
example NOT a EMU0202 or similar stuff. 16 bit and 48 kS/s is
totally sufficient. It would be nice if the mic-GND is at one
potential with the USB-shield, just to avoid problems.

Does someone know one and where to order it?
