Spent some time working on my new mast which should be up in a
week or two. Listened on 136kHz when I could. Very strong signal
from the US RTTY signal so it looks like the DX season has started,
despite some bad QRN caused by the record high temperatures.
There appear to have been 10 countries active this weekend (DL,
EI, G, GW, HB, ON, OZ, OE, OK, PA), though I heard only 7.

Saturday 11 Sep
Heard the USA RTTY signal on 137.0 at 0450UTC 10dB over 9.
Was 589 by 0600 and S3 by 0644. Must start monitoring this with
the ON software.

PSK31; G8RW (599); ON4ZK (539).
