Last night IQ2MI was very strong here in JN36nu near Fribourg, RST 569. DI2AM (579) was also audible, as usual and OK0EMW peaked 559. Noise is very low here, the S-Meter is barely moving. Not so in the band which we may get in the future. 472 to 480 kHz is much noisier. The NDB's BIA 474 from Poland, RP 477 from Slovakia and VIB 480 from Italy are peaking S9, using a tuned Inverted L, 12m high, 43m long.
So far we have no permission to transmit on 500 kHz in Switzerland. But if we get some kHz next February from the World Radio Conference in Geneva, we will be QRV soon. The antenna is ready, as you can see, and a TX is also waiting under the desk. 500watts should be enough to get the 5W EIRP :-)

73 and hopefully soon on 600 meters. In CW of course. Toni, HB9ASB

PS. Now switching the antenna back to 136, for a QSO or two this weekend.
