Hello All

last saturday a "LF tactical team" took a close look on the DCF39 site in Burg near Magdeburg.

The data presented previously in my station profile
DCF39.TXT
have to be updated:

1) One antenna has been scrapped completely
2) The antennas active for emission of DCF39
and Radioropa Info respectively have been interchanged.

<<DCF39.TXT>> Teamleader Geri will come up with a more
detailed report, photos and other surprises soon...

formerly used for MW transmissions

(3) 324m vertical biconical antenna

This is a hexafilar wire antenna
supported by fabric mast
used for transmissions of DCF39
powered by 
Telefunken Transmitter 
which is a MOSFET amp providing
50kW HFout

(4) triple, 70m octofilar horizontal dipole

(1575kHz Radio Berlin International)

(5) 55m trideco antenna

The frequency was formerly (<1995) allocated 
to DCF39, a transmitter located in Bad Vilbel
(north of Frankfurt/Main).
