Warren, LF,
great to see 73 kHz come back to live! Along with
bandwidth and ERP limits we can only dream of. Fantastic!
Stefan, 10 W ERP is not that hard - anyone who can
radiate 80 W ERP on 136 will be able to do 10 W on half the frequency ;-))
Yesterday night a friend showed me his new GPS-stabilized
quadrocopter. It's stunning how it could just about be parked in midair,
despite some lateral winds. Seems that would make a great antenna carrier! Not
all of the neighbour's seemed to enjoy it as much as we did...
Best 73,

ERP
My
congrats for getting that band! Who of you can manage to radiate 10 W ERP on
the 4 km band? I remember it was quite an effort to radiate 58 mW ERP at 33 km
:-)

Hello the list,
As Graham has pointed out I have applied for and
received an experimental grant for 68-76kHz.
I have loaded a copy of the license as well as the Experimental
Description (Question 7 on FCC/OET form 442) on my web page:
(I am really bad at making web pages - probably because I'd rather play
radio than spend time learning web page design!)
