I am working with Jay as we speak to maybe incorporate GPS freq control. The two of them tried out the somewhat "perfected" OPDS and was getting- 48+ SNR decodes on 137 last night! I am using an HP signal generator similar to what Jay uses and just would like to get it good enough to try OPDS. A stable freq source of course could be used to advantage on other modes.

Mike;
Those captures are amazing! You caught me off guard as I didn't think
anyone would see anything for hour or two and my signal generator would
stabilize after about an hour! I didn't get home until after 2300 to
warm it up.
Hi Bob,
Maybe you know there are soundcards sampling at 192 kS/s, which are
able to generate frequencies of 0...96 kHz. If you can find such a
soundcard, you could use that directly to generate your TX frequency,
which would be much more stable then. And when using SpecLab you can
even generate DFCW-90 (or 120...), and WSPR-15 or even slow hell :-)
Maybe, if you plan to continuously improve the performance of your
station, this would be a helpful device/advice :-)
