Thanks both - good luck with the mods Laurie - well the best path of max darkness is Eu midwinter, as it is from here to the East coast USA - My sunrise and sunset doesnt change dramatically over the year but the longer night time will help Im sure. Just having the path open for longer will help and I think Ill get rid of some of the tstorm activities from some of the monsoons. I think we will get plenty of signal - I just need to work on the signal to noise! Im going to run two receivers and two slightly different antennae on the next run - this will nix the dcf39 plot. Cheers - Laurence 9V1 LF
