Maybe a good idea to go with a standard beacon format like Dex used...a something second QRSS letter T then regular CW say 10or 15 WPM sending the station number(11 or whatever it is) over & over? That way a guy wouldn't have to sit around wondering if that fading in & out carrier was QRSS or a birdie as one would know for sure if it was a real beacon signal as the long dash would go off in a minute or less then expect lots of regular CW. It may make ID'ing easier. It's pretty obvious that a 505kc signal goes across the pond audible but is subject to more rapid fading than a LF signal so a shorter ID may be needed??? Anyone?

Was that your signal last nite on 505 khz, keying at different qrs speeds.
It was solid here but too slow for me to hang about in the middle of the
nite for ID purposes. The signal was also audible and suitable for a CW qso.
