Happy Christmas all. Im set up on rx is a small settlement some 60 miles N of anchorage, Alaska and my gps says its bp51fp. I have set up a smallish loop some 40m in circumference and resonated using the split cap method using 1 and 22n. I can "see" dcf39 over the pole even though its 20z and fully light here, the sun came up about an hour ago at appx 10am local.

The set up isnt ideal - I need more preamp gain on the 817 or a bigger loop and as Im in a birch forest can sling up something bigger but lacking the wire today. There are, as ever, moose around so the lowest is above "rack" height.

Temps down to around -30C here and pretty cold with a biting wind at times.

Live (if the DSL stays up) "what" Im looking/listening at on "argo 1" on the web site, "argo 2" is my transmitting signals as being transmitted from Oklahoma :-

- this pc doesnt have the high screen res on the home unit and I cant put mulitple screens up unfortunately.
