Hi to all at LF,

Power supply upgrade completed (as previously reported), replaced PA MOSFETS
distroyed during bench testing, also replaced damaged RF ground return cap
(output transformer centre tap), found high level of RF on supply lines from
PSU at high RF power output, added some extra decoupling on supply line
input to Tx to resolve.

Now to resume on air testing, starting tonight (2nd November 2003 from about
2100 utc). The new power level on lowest setting is now same as highest when
using previous power supply (130 watts), not going up to high power until I
have upgraded spike protection components, I should then be able to achieve
300 watts.

The test transmission text will indicate power level as shown :-

Call sign ID at 6 wpm followed by QRSS3 text
