Peter, thanks for that. Scaling AL and height indicates µr ~ 700 which probably means ferrite material. With a one meter stack of those cores it would be easy to reach the desired inductance, but flux density and achievable voltage might be limited by saturation and hysteresis losses. I will take a look when the cores arrive here.

PS there was a minor error in mycalculation of the µd term: 1 m^2 / 4cm^2 = 2500, not 5000.
