Hi Chris,
that must have been an Opera-8 transmission from PA0WM. The mode would resemble unreadable QRSS with 2 second dots and 4 second dashes.

A massive signal here, just caught WMR in the fast ID ahead of the QRSS, but couldn't understand the QRSS - looked like the spacing was not right, nothing made sense!
