Hi Eddie,
this is a very nice observation! Before the constant carrier started at 9:30, there was a message consisting of several five-minute dashes between 82 and 83 Hz, well visible on your grabber.
Best 73,
Markus

Today, early morning was so quiet on VLF that I thought that my ELF SpecLab RX I was running yesterday was playing up, I started a second RX with a faster sample rate, which is on my Grabber now. Once both were set up I took a look for ZEVS. See zevs1.jpg from the first RX. Maybe the signal came up in strength at 09.30 for 1 Hour the frequency was spot on 82Hz, the readout of the cross hairs can be slightly above or below not correct. Checking the second RX see zevs2.jpg it looks more like it switched on at 09.30 for 1 hour precisely, this time I settled the cross hairs at the higher readout. 73 Eddie G3ZJO Disclaimer. This is NOT Amateur Radio, a straight line on the exact frequency is no proof that the carrier belongs to ZEVS ....blah blah YAWN.>:o |
