Hi Jay and LF,

yes, certainly another big VLF signal, up to 10 mV/m here. And with truly global coverage - look at the near-realtime VLF spectrograms from the Worldwide Lightning Location Network: http://webflash.ess.washington.edu/ .

I have posted some plots and thoughts about the remarkably different diurnal fading characteristics on the two DHO38 channels (23.4 vs. 18.5 kHz) - see http://people.freenet.de/df6nm/vlf/vlf_DHO_dualfreq.htm .

73 and best wishes to all
Markus, DF6NM

Signal here was so strong I was skeptical...

RTTY and carrier - notice Argo signal level during carrier period!

Wasn't convinced until I later received the quick brown fox ...

http://www.w1vd.com/capture/18dot5kHz041806C.jpg

and this with heavy static at 0230Z. Will check tomorrow morning when condx are
quiet.

One heck of a signal!
