interesting. Here still using old superhets!
There will be an encore tonight starting 2300.
Still tinkering on VLF and giving some thought to raising the aerials

I find it amazing how well the cheap RTL-SDR V3 dongle worked.
Is the signal to noise figure referenced to a bandwidth of 2500 Hz?
If so, using a 12 Hz filter for aural copy, yields an improvement of
about 23 dB.
