Why WSPR when you can TALK?

For those  stations   sending  wspr  and  decoding  wspr  two-way  , it  may not  be first apparent  , but  the  minimum  signal  level  WSPR  decodes  at  is the  same as  ROS-MF-2  data  mode

Unless  you  are  sending  wspr  from a  pic-dds  , then  by  audio  or  SDR the  ROS-MF-2  ( and  MF-7)  data  modes  can  be  sent  via the  same  path

Downloaded from the  same  web site as the  opera  beacon , ROS data  mode  shares the  same  low  equipment  over  heads ,in terms of  stability  and  no  time  locking  requirement  and offers  quite  reliable  data  comms  in  100 Hz  b/w

ROS-MF was  developed  during  the  initial 501<>504  allocation  and  remains  perhaps the  lowest  , single  pass  , live qso   data  mode  available  to  date , there  being  no  limit  to  text length .

The   s/n  reported is the  average  along  the  time  line  , along  with the  margin  of  signal over the  minimum decode  level , The  Opera  beacon  is  completely  in  indicating  path  suitability , but  is  capable  of  lower  s/n  decode  levels

As in  Opera , cq  web  beacon and  linking to the  psk-reporter is provided , where  activity and s/n levels  may  be downloaded
