Hi Wolfgang
You are probably right and thanks for the information. You probably noticed the "deliberate" mistake in the Diode numbers also ..... remind me to check the spread sheet after I paint and drag a line of data ..hee hee.
The reflector doesn't allow very big attachments so I will send you the pictures directly. It looks exactly like the one on the site of the URL below.
I am sure that there is a rig in that line up of parts ... energy saving lamps can't be all bad news can they?
Well thanks for the reply and GL 73 Pete fmt. --- On Mon, 9/3/09, Wolfgang Büscher <[email protected]> wrote:

Hi Pete, Thanks for the 'forensic analysis'. I am tempted to build a high-voltage QRP transmitter from one of these beasts ;-) Sure that "DK51" is a unijunction transistor ? I found a french site (in french language) which seems to say that the DK51 is more or less compatible with an MJE13001, which is a 600 Volt, 0.2 A silicon NPN transistor. Looking at the circuit, it seems to make sense: http://pagesperso-orange.fr/doumai/Clartec_Lampe/Clartec_Lampe_8W.htmCheers, Wolf DL4YHF .
