 Hi Luis !

May be you are using WSJT-X? It is giving higer signal reports than WSPR-X
I’m getting +18dB from my monitor at 7Km with WSPR-X and +30dB with WSJT-X
So, a +11 would be -1 with WSPR-X.

This was an issue of older WSJT-X software versions (1.7 ??), the current version WSJT-X 1.9.1 does not have that problem. It arose from the use of smaller (than 2500Hz) IF-filters. This is no longer a problem. I'm using 250 Hz Filters for WSPR and WSJT-X 1.9.1 works well.

Indeed the 80m vertical (Kiteless) antenna with only 80W PA has an amazing performace and low radiation angle

Not a Tesla stuff but a real option for those living in flats. Building height used as part of the antenna

It’s very common in EA to live in 6 to 12 floors height buildings, which gives you up to 25m for free, plus the height

of the pole to support the high voltage section (after coil) of the antenna. But people think they have to recreate a

groung plane at the roof, which is not the way to go
