That's simple Chris , Triangulate the loop and use the mid base tension , as a 450 ohm ladder fed, off centre fed wire top , quite a classic Ae in its day , probably be lower noise for rx as well .. )

Other than that , the switching would need to be a drawn assy , I wonder , do plastic bicycle wheels conduct or have low values of permeability ....

Simpler to string something  up for  HF , away  from the  loop  Chris ?

Probably,  but  my loop works very well on HF, would be sad to lose it
to  just LF usage. If I had to run dual antennas I would probably keep
the  loop  as  HF  and  add  a  much higher LF one. But don't tell `er
indoors, for Gawd's sake...
