ROS S/N Metering
now aligned with AE4JY Windows'
based PathSim
As s/n measurements is some
what subjective, in the previous issues of
ROS,
the S/N reading's
where aligned to the popular Fldigi , Multipsk and Wspr
modes.
Due to confusion in
the reported s/n levels during simulation testing,
The ROS
all mode S/N metering is now aligned with
the PathSim , propagation path
simulation software.
The PathSim s/n levels are
more realistic, V 6-8-3 onwards , now embodies the
changes.
This is re-calibration of
the metering and has no affect on the operation of
the software.
