Ok Spiros ,

 

In test   , Gary  reduced the  Tx power , to  'see'  or  measure  the  point  the  signal  was   too   low/weak   to  decode 

but even   with  mW's  carrier  power    to  the  Ae  ,  radiated power  in uW  !    he still   had decodes  from   GW and  myself

More to the  point , can you  reduce power to the  point  it  'stops' decoding , in test   with  Gary  over 25 miles , its  not  as  easy as it  first  seems !

The last 3 days I had also a very nice reports from SV3DVO/p.

Manolis, SV2DVO is in holydays with family and when he is on the beach, (istead to swim), he put up the FT100 with laptop and mini whip by PA0RDT and receive my signal with –25 at a distance of 130 KM in OP-8.

When he will come back at home he send me some fotos from the beach and the LF portable set-up and I wll publish here.
