Hi Jacek,
Yes, he picked up my signal with the help of GBZ one one of his two PCs.
However the next thing is that GBZ of whatever reference must be
available all the time, of course. Alex' spectrogram also showed the
lower Alpha trace (11904.7619 Hz) as a feedback information showing that
the reference is working (or not). But about half of the time the Alpha
trace was blurry, unstable or not present at all, means that GBZ was not
available in that distance, at least not with a necessary level. And
think about the terminator, a loss of 20 minutes can cost the decode...
As you say, the NEO-6M modules work so well and are so cheap and less
power consuming, it is not necessary to search for alternatives.
No soldering? Then something is missing, like transmitting without
winding a coil before :-)

Hi Jacek,
short answer:
Yes (if you have a soundcard without dropouts on the input). It will
work on many modern PC's. For
example, RN3AUS has achieved successful decodesd from DK7FC using
samplerate sync to GBZ.
thanks Markus, i must have missed that in Alex's mails.
then reason i asked is that it might be a simpler route for many
people (no soldering, no linux skills, no extra hardware etc).
