Since 22:45 UTC i'm running a plain and stable carrier on 8270.00500 Hz. The antenna current is 410 mA, in the moment. It is a test of the new coil. The coil is built to manage 700 mA. Maybe i just need a stronger power supply, i'll investigate...

So far the coil is quite unimpressed by the high voltage. I can see no partial discharges but the BEEEEP is very loud!

Maybe someone can see something :-) I'll let it run for an hour or so and will tell when it has stopped...
