Well Wolf , the band is all ready full of fixed aero
beacons and for some reason wspr
is also now located in the middle of the band ,
very strange , must be quite a problem in the more
'densely' populated south , at least one
wspr station is running 24/7 from
00:00 , it was advertised as so . I agree
keep to the edges
If the silliness persists and there are no
clear areas for multimode operation , may
need to turn to spread spectrum
technology to negate the affects of the constant
carriers !

Objection ;o) Let those 'primitive' but
predominant modes like CW remain at the start of the band.
So they will
suffer from the digital / beacon / etc QRM only from one side.
Also keep
beacon-like transmission as far away from the QSO / CW segment as possible. You
will know what I mean when the first 24/7 / 365 day beacon appears ( I
really hope this day never comes).
