Hello Joe and group,

my receiver was tuned on LF OPDS band last night so it was not possibile to record all EbNaut transmissions due to change of qrg. By the way, following transmissions on 137477 Hz have been recordered here: 23:30, 23:45, 00.00, 00.15, 00:30.

All these wave files (prepeared for EbNaut-rx) are in the folder on www.qsl.net/iz7slz.

With the help of a 4-core Win10 PC i have attempted to decode the message but without success. I think to have found the correct offsets and i have noted the carrier in the squared spectra by using DF6NM application (show_rawsyms3a). The 00.00 transmission shows a noticeable peak (see attached).

Maybe the Eb/No was not enought at that hour for a decode.

Everything is ready to record your next transmissions on 137777 Hz.

OK Stefan, lets try a shorter message (54 chars) tonight starting 2300 utc and every 15 mins. 150 watts 2 amps RF. 137.777 kHz 1432 0.2 s
symbols, 4K19A.

I like my 32 bit machine too!

Thanks for the helpful advice Markus. I noticed the different colours
on your grabber. Will go for a shorter message this time.

Hi Joe,

Unfortunately it looks like the EbNaut decoder can't decode 155 characters on this PC (4 GB RAM). The number of characters seems to be limited to 66 :-(
I don't have any 64 bit systems available here.

Dear Group,

Reports of the OP32 sigs from R7NT, F5WK, Graham, Markus, Hugh, Stefan
Dominico and others who I inadvertently left out are gratefully acknowledged.

Tonight by popular demand starting 2330 and every 15 mins, EbNaut 155
chars 0.2 seconds 771.2 s message duration, 4K19A polynomial. 500w
3.5A to the 100m RL. Reports most welcomed. Good luck to all.
(Let's hope I've set it up correctly!)

Hi Markus,

Thanks, very nice. 131 characters in 0.2 s symbols, that's great!

Joe, could you run a similar transmission again? Maybe with a longer text :-)

Hi Joe,

Is it right that you sent some EbNaut with many symbols on LF in the
past (last season) ?
I didn't give it a try that time. Now i would be interested in a TA
detection of an EbNaut signal.
Which symbol length did you choose that time?
