I'm not an expert at all, but as there is no answer from others and after seeing your picture
I would not make a vertical loop that way. In my opinion it will be too close to the terrace floor
and the rest of the building
What I have done is a horizontal loop and it works. If you can place 4 poles in the corners of the
building shown in your picture (40mm plastic pipe 1,5m high) then you should get a bigger loop
More than one turn can be better, or at least that's what I have read but not tested
Using the four corners of the buiding may be you can get 7m x 7m loop, and if you make 2 turns
vertically spaced may be you can get something working on 477KHz ???
6mm copper wire can be too heavy and expensive. I used RG59 coax and it works. Cheap and light
I prefer to spend the money in good capacitors

I would like to know your opinion about this:
I can made a square TX loop for 470KHz of 7 * 3 meters (see picture) in the terrace of the building where I live (6 floors).
the questions are:
- it is enough a 6mmq copper electric wire ?? (20W is the output power of my tx).
- single turn or two turns spaced 10cm max ?? (two turns = less pF required to take the resonance).
- Is this a good idea to start to trasmit on 470KHz WSPR ??
