Hi Paul,

Remember i've been on 6.47 kHz some time ago ;-)
Do you expect some advantages from the 50 km band? Or is it just as a challenge?

It is interesting to dream about but shouldn't we try to get some more people become active first? I remember G3XIZ and his attempts. Maybe he is reading this :-) Also we could try to play with the idea of Markus, a few stations transmitting phase-synchronous, forming a 'beam' on VLF. Another thing, i would like to study the propagation on 8.27 kHz by transmitting one week without an interruption. I would like to see the terminator passing (not Schwarzenegger!) and maybe the effect of SIDs. But maybe my signal is to weak to see it in a reasonable distance or propagation path. We will see..

But sure, i also thought about the lower frequencies, now that i have my own RX station is 3.5 km distance. I could try various experiments, even if the antenna efficiency is a lot lower down there..

Stefan, want to try EbNaut at a lower frequency? That would
be a good challenge. 6kHz perhaps?
