I do not think they have the vital trait of "learning behaviour" inbuilt, Andy. The most "Expert" system they have is probably still at the stage of learning diaper manipulation in wet, smelly and sodden operating systems!

I found this email in my spam box (I use GMail).   The reason given, was that it had failed some test relating to AOL sources ( ?? )
I unspammed it, then forwarded to the "anti-spam team" as suggested so perhaps they'll learn

All a bit weird

Markus,

Some time ago I had similar problems with my aol account and one of the groups I am a member of. We found that the solution was to set up a gmail account that is only used for those groups and since then I am no longer troubled. I found (with the advice of others) that it was the least troublesome way. Trying to deal with aol is just too much hassle.

Edgar made me aware that my since a few days my AOL account has been bouncing legitimate emails containing links to Dropbox URLs - presumably due to some recently introduced policy for spam (over)protection. I also seem to be missing a few messages from the LF reflector. I assume that this would also affect other AOL users - does someone else in the group currently experience this problem, or know a workaround?
