Hi Markus,

Oh, never stop learning! ;-) Maybe it makes a lot of fun and maybe it is much easier than expected... :-)

These days i'm now learing some very basic Linux stuff on the Raspberry pi and if there is some success, it is nice stuff! Yesterday i learned how to steer the GPIO port via the remote link, by running a cpp file. Now, a simple LED can be switched on and off. Trivial. BUT, later i can connect a bistable relay and choose between different RX antennas in the garden! Most useful :-)
Next i want to run an ADC (LTC2400) on the SPI bus for measuring the battery voltage. This allows me to check the situation on the remote site and do some data monitoring here (e.g. generating a diagram from voltage values beeing sent each minute), as well as some energy management...

Just to share some thoughts...

Hi Stefan,

yes I've been considering that. My opds page https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/26404526/opds.htm has links to text output from 14 different opds-32 observers, out of which 8 seem to be currently updating (GW3EZY, DK7FC, DF6NM, SV8RV, UW8SM, EW6BN, UA0SNV, JA8SCD). I could probably make a simple utility which periodically downloads these results, sorts lines by timestamps, amends RX callsigns, and uploads them as a single text list. Unfortunately I have little knowledge of web programming techniques, so it would be  just the rudimentary thing, without pretty maps or user-defined selective database retrieval.

Subject: LF: OPDS database?

Hello Markus,

Did you ever think about offering a OPDS database? This could be a simple website allowing to collect/upload detections from other OPDS users.
A time consuming project for you, maybe. But why not? :-)
