Hello Mike,Thanks for the QSO. Our first i think, after so many attempts. That's the positive side of the absence of DLF... In the end it became a bit difficult, i had to play with the filter BW. Usually i prefer a 350 Hz filter... Here is a desktop capture of my LF/MF grabber PC, showing your signal with at least 10 dB SNR: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19882028/LF/G3XDV_CW.png Is there some chance to QRO on your side? Another 6 dB would clearly help to make a QSO comfortable... 73, cuagn, StefanPS: I saw in the DX cluster that I5EFO is starting to become active on LF. I am in email contact with him. He is focused on CW! We'll see... Am 04.01.2015 14:13, schrieb Mike Dennison: A good idea, Stefan. I will call CQ on 136.500kHz from 1400UTC today (Sunday). Mike ====Here is another report for you, i think it is the best signal i saw from you so far: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19882028/LF/3_03.JAN_17.02UTC_G3XD V.jpg On 136.5 this could be audible in the morning and early afternoon hours, before 15 UTC or so. We could give it a try tomorrow... 73, Stefan |
