Hi G, Am 08.03.2014 21:21, schrieb Graham: Surely the dynamic range is defined by the a/d in the sound card ...... ? the wi-fi link should only mimic the USb link ? its only in compression modes that all sorts of adjacent tones and dynamic range are limited ? a wave file is raw data ? Uuh, these questions are already part of what i don't know :-)All i want is to run a LF/MF/VLF receiver in a remote location, using a 2.4 GHz link, having a power consumption as low as possible (less than 10 mA at 5 VDC), a compact system. PC in the link ....... dont know , but if the wi-fi simply extended the USB distance , then , would not the driver be at the end of the link ? as in the post ? Yes, i think so.I think it is possible to get all these informations in the web and to learn how it can be done. But that is to far away from amateur radio for me. I just want to use it for LF/MF/VLF amateur radio :-) 73, Stefan |
