Yes indeed, i also guess that it's not only the lower QRN levels but
also the ground temperature. At least if a significant portion of the
path is land, then there could be some dependency.
I am surprised that LF works so well with these
summer temps.
Yes, LF is the real challenge :-)
630m is more or less the same almost any night, with ranges up to
arround 2000km. BUT we know that there are some rare propagation events
that one can call a miracle :-)
