Hi Roger
Yes nice to see your signal there, 500KHz was fun and we did well with
QRP powers. I shall be using QRP on 472kHz also. I stayed on until the
bitter end filling the last possible WSPR slot. I have lots of audio
files and screen shots too which will need sorting when I get the time.
I couldn't QSY to 472 instantly due to my HiQ antenna. Today the WX was
kind so I have dismantled the coil assembly and utilised the last tap of
the extra few turns I added a while ago, it looks like I calculated it
right it resonates.:-)
Just seen your signal climbing up the WSPR window, my report to you is
the same as on 500, however I note you are seeing me so that is one for
the book. Do you think it is a lack of noise your end?
Here I still have to see what the Plasma QRM is like at night, it has
been clean on a non resonant antenna but resonating my inv. L on 500 or
472 induces signals into the non resonant antenna so only now will we
find out.

Thanks for spots Eddie and others.
Just closed down for the very last time on 500kHz with an hour of WSPRing at
~10mW ERP before the shack became grandson's bedroom again.
I have greatly enjoyed the 500kHz band and look forward to 472kHz. Earliest
real opportunity on the new band will be late tomorrow (WSPR) then after Jan
3rd when grandchildren go home and I get my shack back.
