QSO wasn't during optimum condx.
The BIA beacon sometimes completely disappeared.
Now (abt 00hrs utc) it's strength increased, assume at that time it
would be better.
One of the consequence is: night's rest.
Yesterday BIA was vy strong.
Anyway a distance of 460km for CW! Not bad.
FYI 100W (gw3uep) 23m antenna against house earthprobe.
Later that morning worked EI0CF and remarkably also EI6DN. (800-900km)
Both mostly ragchew just under IQ2MI beacon before bedtime.
I heard EI6DN for the first time, sometimes drowning into the noise but
in general acceptable copy.
