Ok. Would be interesting about that band. It could be used without a PC,
just normal CW like on 160. Even compromise antennas should work
reasonably within EU, like on 160 too...
In 2007, before i started with kite antennas, i arranged a lazy loop in
the forest on that hill where i do the VLF experiments. I took simple
mains installation wire (1.5mm^2) and made a loop with 130m
circumference. There i run my 600W class E PA on 160 and participated in
the RSGB 160m contest. Signals were often 599+60 dB in my 706. I even
had QSOs in the CQWW 160m contest to US stations although that antenna
actually radiates in very high angles on that frequency.
Would be interesting about 500 kHz there...
Anyway, i've enoughto do on 137 which is rather a challenge to me now ;-)

The power limit in the UK is 10w erp. It is not difficult to erect a 1/4
wave inv L antenna. I get vy good results world wide.

Hello Walter,
Oh dear, 500 kHz, another project? ;-)
How high do you expect the chance to get an allocation on 500 in
Germany? And what are the restrictions in UK and EU countries regarding
TX power or ERP? Is there a limit?
Just thinking about a 1/2 wave vertical on 600m ;-)

Jan, you are right. And more is not possible at this moment. We are
waiting for the WRC in 2012 and hope for better results.
