Currently DD7PC appeared with a stronger signal than ever and will join
in in the QRSS-60 transmissions tonite. Another goal! :-)
Like the last days i will start again at 18:30 UTC in QRSS-120 and then
again from 22 UTC the whole night through in QRSS-60. Hope to improve
things here a bit by removing the lower half of that lossy stone put
arround my coil althought the coil stands in the rain then, maybe...

It is indeed a real fun to read the recent mails concerning ongoing
T/A experiments and watching some grabbers.
Unfortunately, this evening brings also a heavy qrm at my qth ( rain,
winds, different appliances frm my neighbours etc.. )
Anyway, i switched on my 136 kHz Rx setup based on a ferrite rod
antenna . Attached, there is a fragment of
Stefan transmission with letter "C" of dk7fc ending abt 2320 utc. But
this small picture also shows traces
of Mal, g3kev transmission at 136.173 kHz - it is really a big a
fun to observe a ferrite rod antenna placed indoor!!!
detecting a signal over 1300 km distance (Mal, pse cfm ur loc:
IO94SH ?)
Mal's signal is my 4th radioamateur transmission 'seen' by ferrite
rod rx system
and it holds an 'odx' label
the weather forcast for the forthcoming weekend is promising.. the
fronts will pass so no rain expected
and therefore i will try to put the ferrite rod antenna on my balcony
and will leave it there through the night
with my grabber being switched on if the T/A experiments continue
