It shows the results of field strength achievements as a function of the TX frequency for different distances and a given TX power. Have we all known about this? Me not ;-) Now i understand why the military stations are located mostly between 15 and 25 kHz...
But 8970 Hz is not much worse, at least distances below 4000 km...

But that graph tell me it is rather difficult to reach TF3HZ or 4X1RF on 5170 Hz. Anyway we'll see...
